How the money actually goes missing

Three settings on your domain (SPF, DKIM and DMARC) are what tell receiving mail servers to reject a forgery. On most small-business domains they were never set up, or only half. That is the open door.

Tighten it to reject
Once the reports come back clean, over about four weeks, forged mail starts getting thrown away before it reaches anyone. We re-scan and send you the proof.
Then we keep watch
Settings drift. A new email tool, a staff change, one small tweak, and it can quietly break. We watch it and tell you the moment it slips.
You don't touch a thing. The whole point is that it happens in the background.

What this does, and what it doesn't

It is not a force field, and we won't pretend it is. It doesn't stop a scammer registering a look-alike domain, or getting into a real mailbox. It reduces the chance, it doesn't remove it. Anyone who tells you they can stop all email fraud is overselling. This is one important door, closed and watched, which is a lot better than open.

Is the free check safe?
Yes. It only reads your domain's public records, the same ones every mail server already sees. It doesn't send any email, log into anything, or touch your systems.
What exactly does the setup stop?

Will it block my own email?
