The starting point: a website left unfinished.
Flowerdale's previous website designers disappeared mid-project. The site was incomplete, and there was nobody left to call.
For most businesses that's annoying. For a wedding and event venue it's expensive. Couples shortlist venues almost entirely online, comparing photos, rooms and packages months before they ever visit. An unfinished website doesn't read as "work in progress". It reads as a warning sign, on the exact purchase where people are most nervous about things going wrong.
And Flowerdale isn't a simple business to present. An 1842 homestead on 106 acres in regional Victoria, running weddings, accommodation, glamping, a restaurant, conferences and events at once. Six audiences, one website, each needing to find their answer fast.
We started with a full audit, implemented the redesign it called for, then stayed on as their long-term web partner: hosting, maintenance, and the graphic design work a working venue needs.

An extensive wedding brochure was designed and translated into three languages, with an automated flow to send it straight to enquiring couples. A couple enquires at midnight; the brochure is in their inbox before anyone at the venue starts work.

The live flowerdaleestate.com.au gives each side of the business its own home: weddings with a brochure couples can request on the spot, accommodation pages for the homestead suites and luxury glamping tents, Gracie's Restaurant with table reservations, and dedicated sections for conferences, retreats, events and gift vouchers.
A language switcher serves international visitors, matching the multi-language wedding brochure. Whoever lands on the site, the next step is always one click away: reserve a table, request the brochure, book a stay.

The result: finished, live and looked after.
Flowerdale Estate went from an abandoned build to a complete website that presents every part of the venue properly, backed by a wedding brochure in three languages that sends itself. And the hosting, maintenance and design work are still with us today.
