A refresh built to adapt

Hypertension Australia needed a website refresh: stronger branding, and a structure that could keep adapting as the organisation changed.

A board and a mission that both needed a properly considered digital home.

Industry: Health not-for-profit
Work: Website refresh, brand refresh

Hypertension Australia website, designed and built by Creative Baguette

/ Health not-for-profit

The starting point: a mission that deserved a stronger presentation.

Hypertension Australia's existing site was due for a refresh, both visually and structurally. They wanted the board and leadership visible, and a site flexible enough to change as the organisation did.

For a health not-for-profit, the website has an audience most businesses never deal with: funders, partner organisations, researchers and the public, all checking the same pages for different reasons. A funder looks for governance. A partner looks for credibility. The public looks for clear information. If the site looks tired, every one of them hesitates.

And organisations like this change: board members rotate, programs start and finish, priorities shift. A site with a rigid structure quietly falls out of date the month after launch.

Not a one-off rebuild, a structure built to keep adapting.

The decisions that mattered

A stronger,
refreshed brand

Presented properly

Branding was refreshed to present the organisation better, giving the mission the professional presentation it deserved. Not a reinvention: a considered update that the team could recognise as themselves, presented properly.

A place
for the board

Leadership, visible

A dedicated space for board members means funders, partners and the public can see who is behind the organisation, building trust in leadership.

Built to
keep adapting

Not a fixed structure

The site was structured so it could change easily as the organisation evolves, rather than needing another full rebuild down the line. Board changes, new programs, new priorities: the structure absorbs them.

What shipped: a first version worth reacting to.

The way Creative Baguette works showed up clearly on this project. Rather than months of meetings, the team got a first mock-up of the website to react to. In Dr Mynard's words below, it fit the brief, was visually appealing and functioned just as they wanted, so the refinement conversation started from something real.

The finished site pairs the refreshed brand with a dedicated space for board members, so the leadership behind the organisation is visible to funders, partners and the public. The structure underneath is built to be edited, not protected.

Delivered on time for their planned launch. Their words, not ours.

The result: a stronger presentation.

Hypertension Australia came away with a refreshed brand and a website that presents them better, with the flexibility to keep adapting. The site launched on time, the team was happy with the result, and Dr Mynard has since recommended Creative Baguette to another organisation.

Guided Support and Stunning Results

The team at Creative Baguette were really great to work with, highly professional but also very friendly.

They met with us and listened well to our requirements, and helped guide us through aspects that we were unsure about.

We were very pleased with the first mock-up of the website, which fit the brief and was visually appealing and functioned just as we wanted. They were highly responsive during the whole process and we were able to launch on time.

I have already recommended Creative Baguette to another organisation and will do so again if the opportunity arises.

Questions this project usually raises

Our website decisions go through a board. Does that work?

Yes.

On this project we met with the team, listened to the requirements, and guided them through the parts they were unsure about. Clear recommendations make group decisions faster, not slower.

Will we need another full rebuild when the organisation changes?

That is exactly what this structure avoids.

The site was built so sections can change, grow or swap out as the organisation evolves, without starting from scratch.

Do you work with other not-for-profits?

Yes.

Creative Baguette has worked with Lifeline Narrm and Handball Australia's Play Handball program among others. Not-for-profits get the same process: one point of contact, a first version to react to, and no jargon.
